Creation of the Physical World

Before the world existed, there was God, and there was only God. And God made the entire world. He made the land, the sky, the oceans, and everything that’s in them. And He also made all the various kinds of animals in the world.

And after this, God also made a man. This is how He made him. He took dust from the ground and formed a person. Then He breathed into his nose, and instantly, the man became alive.

God also made a garden. In the garden, there were different kinds of trees and many delicious fruits on these trees. And God put the man in the garden to live there and take care of it. And so he did.

One day, God brought all the animals before the man and told him to name them all. So, one by one they came, and he named everyone of them.

Now, every animal had its own companion, but the man was alone. So, God put that man into a deep sleep, and took a rib from him, and made a woman. Then God brought the woman before the man, and he was so happy and said “Wow, she is just like me.”

Then God blessed the man and the woman and put them in charge over all that He made. And God looked across everything He created, and it was perfect. There was no sin, there was no suffering. Everything was perfect.
