Jesus Calms the Storm

One day Jesus was teaching a crowd about God. When evening came, Jesus decided to head to the other side of the lake.

So, He and His closest followers got in a boat, and they started across the lake. And Jesus fell asleep in the back of the boat.

Well, a little while later as they were crossing the lake, a severe storm developed. And the wind and the waves started bashing the boat and flooding it. So, the closest followers woke Jesus up and they asked him, “Don’t you care if we die?”

So, Jesus stood up, and he told the storm, “Stop!” And it did! The wind stopped, and the water was completely calm. Then He turned to His closest followers and he asked, “Why were you afraid? Where is your faith?”

Well, the closest followers were stunned, and they asked each other, “Who is this guy? Even the wind and the waves obey him.”
