Jesus Turns Water Into Wine

Right before Savior Jesus started his ministry, he and a few of his new followers went to a wedding. And his family was there as well. During the wedding celebration, the wine ran out, and it was going to be a huge embarrassment once the guests found out.

So, Jesus’ mom, Mary, came to Jesus and told him what happened knowing only He could help. But Jesus told her, “I’m sorry, but my time has not come yet to show who I am.” Nonetheless, Mary still told the servants to do whatever he tells them to.

Now close by were some very large pots. And Jesus told the servants to fill the pots with water. Then he said, “Now take some to the person in charge.” So, they did.

And when the person in charge tasted it, it wasn’t water. It was wine, and better than any wine that was served the whole day. And the person in charge was shocked at how good the wine was.

And this was first miracle that Jesus did, and his new followers believed in him even more.
